The 'time-period' in Readings matches your list to the teaching period (not the study period) that the subject is being taught in.

A = Teaching Period 1 - January to June

B = Teaching Period 2 - July to December

It is based on the census date of the subject's study period.

Time-periods are added to your list when it is created and they are updated when the list is rolled over.

Time periods serve two purposes:

1. They give any digitisation request a start and end date in line with Copyright rules.

2. They link your list automatically to your LearnJCU subject site.

The LearnJCU link looks for a hierarchy code and the time period in Readings that matches the code in your subject site.
