This is one of a number increasingly common errors caused by web sites' over use of cookies which has exceeded your browser's limits.

Solution is to Clear cache/web history/cookies.

Quick workarounds are:

  • Open a new incognito or private window, or;
  • Use a different browser. i.e. if you get the error using Chrome try using Firefox.

  1. Better answer: You don't need to clear your cookies, and lose all your saved passwords etc for every site you use on the internet. You only need to to delete the cookies for http://hip.jcu.edu.au/.... Chrome users can do this by clicking on a link to bring up the HTTP error page, clicking on the exclamation mark to the left of the URL and deleting the cookies from there.
