Explanation
Authentication to Readings was migrated to Shibboleth IDP v4 on 24th June 2021.
This has resulted in users being prompted with this screen on login which explains explicitly what information is being shared with a third party system:
Which is telling you what information is being shared with the Readings platform (powered by Talis Aspire) and asking how often you wish to confirm you accept the sharing of that data.
The infomation shared is a unique AAF identifier for you that the Talis system uses to log you in to your account. We recommend that you accept the default (that you should only be prompted for acceptance again if the information to be shared ever changes).
