Vancouver in-text referencing uses superscript numbers which are placed in different places according to the preceeding punctuation. This is covered in the AMA Library Guide. There are other Vancouver styles that format the numbers differently. Please check with your lecturer.
Both APA and Harvard use author date in-text. There are samples including MLA and Chicago in the Guide.
