You may need to force the authentication of your Bluefire reader.
Try unauthorising your reader (click on the menu icon [the "hamburger"] and select Info, then hit deauthorise), and then close the app. Go back to Proquest and click the download link again. It should ask for your authorising details. If it allows you to authorise the app and open the book, it should not need to ask you to do this again for other eBooks from ProQuest.
