When you request a digitisation (scan) using the Readings system, you can upload your own scan as part of the process.

To maintain a high standard of digitisations the library will check your scan to ensure it meets requirements. These include:

  • Being fully legible and as clean & crisp as possible (without marks, notes etc.), to ensure ease of reading.
  • The scan must include the title and verso (copyright) pages for ease of reference
  • Scans must be single page.

If you have a scan that meets these requirements then feel free to upload as above, if not the library will produce a high quality scan and attach it to the item (subject to Copyright clearance).
