If you are in Townsville or Cairns you can request items that are located in the Townsville or Cairns libraries, unfortunately you cannot request items that are in Singapore, special collections or on other Australian campuses.
To request an item follow the instructions on this page, please note that clicking the grey button "Request Item" will place a hold on the next available copy, clicking the link "request copy" will place a hold on a specific copy which may be useful if there is a two day loan copy and a "main" copy which can be loaned for the standard 3 weeks.
The library will send you an email to advise when your requested item has arrived, the item can then be collected from the Holds Shelf located on the ground floor of the library near the Library Help Desk.
If you live more than 50km from the Townsville or Cairns campuses you are eligible to use the off-campus library service.
Requested items usually take 3 business days to be sent between campuses.
