Find It @ JCU Library is our Link Resolver. It links citations from anywhere (e.g. EndNote, a database, or you typing) to full text of items available through JCU Library subscriptions.
The underlying technologies are OpenURL and DOI.
The most common way you will use it is when you are searching a database or Google Scholar. You will see a button
or a link:
Find It @ JCU Library
You click and the citation details are sent to Find It which then displays a choice of sources for the item.
Find It @ JCU Library will appear in databases we have subscribed to - you will see it if you have accessed the database as a JCU user. It will automatically prompt you to login if you are off campus and it doesn't detect an existing off campus session. No special configuration or installation is required from you.
You can also manually enter a citation into Find It using Citation Linker (enter your citation/reference – get the full text).
Citation Managers (like EndNote, Mendeley and Zotero) can be configured to use Find It @ JCU Library to retrieve full text using the Base URL: https://jcu.primo.exlibrisgroup.com/openurl/61ARL_JCU/61ARL_JCU:JCU?
