Q. How do I use a DOI to get the full text of a journal article?

You can search for DOIs on One Search by pasting the DOI (just the number) directly into the search box.

Alternatively, you can go to the DOI resolver tool.

1. Go to http://dx.doi.org/ (or use their form below)
2. Paste the DOI into the doi: text box
3. Click Go

You can also append a DOI to the resolver's URL to get a link to full text, e.g. for the DOI 10.7589/2016-09-202 use:

http://dx.doi.org/10.7589/2016-09-202

But remember if you are off campus you won't get access to JCU Library subscription material using this tool unless you add the elibrary address as part of your URL, e.g.:
