Vancouver is an umbrella term that describes a number of styles, and the way you format your reference list depends on which version of Vancouver you are using. This advice is for AMA, which is the version of Vancouver used by most of the disciplines at JCU.
If you are writing for a journal (or you've been told to format your assignment as if you were writing for a particular journal) the best thing to do is look at other articles published in that journal.
You can see how to format a reference list in AMA here: http://libguides.jcu.edu.au/ama/sample-reference-list
Unless you've been told to do something specific, you can just get Word to format your reference list as a numbered list (up in the Paragraph controls, next to the Bullets button), and it should be fine.
