LinkedIn Learning (formerly known as Lynda.com) has an app.Like the desktop web version you log in via JCU's CAS (Central Authentication Service)

Once you have installed the app:

Android

  1. Open the app
  2. Tap Sign in
  3. It will ask you to log in with your email address. Use the JCU email address.
  4. You should see another screen asking if you want to sign in as JCU-SSO or JCU-SIT. Pick JCU-SSO
  5. Log in using your JCU login ID and password
  6. Choose whether you want to link your JCU LinkedIn Learning account to your LinkedIn account (see below for more information) or proceed with just your JCU login

IOS

  1. Open the app
  2. Tap Sign in with your organization portal
  3. Enter jcu.edu.au
  4. Tap Sign in with your organisation portal
  5. Log in using your JCU login ID and password
  6. Choose whether you want to link your JCU LinkedIn Learning account to your LinkedIn account (see below for more information) or proceed with just your JCU login

What happens if I connect to my LinkedIn profile?

You will get:

  • more prompts to engage in learning, with LinkedIn Learning recommendations appearing within your LinkedIn profile
  • more personalised content recommendations based on what your contacts and people with similar interests and roles are watching
  • more insights into learning trends, what LinkedIn influencers and thought leaders are recommending etc.

Privacy Implications of Linking Accounts
