Working out who should be an author on publications by students can be a tricky and very sensitive thing for HDRs to work out. This module Managing Conflict with an Advisor can help HDRs to work through the issues they need to consider. Two documents to help with this are the Framework for Discussing Co-Authorship Arrangements and the Code for the Responsible Conduct of Research (see 5. Authorship).
