Q. How much does it cost to use the 3D Printers?

The minimum charge is $5 which covers any print job taking up to 5 hours to complete. Jobs over 5 hours duration will be costed at an additional $1 per hour.

Example: a seven hour print job will cost $7.

• Our 3D print team will email you a quote upon receiving your file.
• We will not go ahead with the print until you approve the quote.
• The cost may be charged to your library account and is to be paid when you collect your object.

3D Printing costs are calculated by object, rather than by the number of files. If you have an object that is printed in three pieces, costs will be calculated from the combined print time of the three pieces.
